The
"Connecticut Hurricanes Alumni Association" Official website. The
Alumni Association is open to all former members in good standing of
the Connecticut Hurricanes and is intended to provide social, as well
as, recreational opportunities to our members, and a chance tonetwork
with our diverse group of Alumni, stay in-touch and keep abreast
of accomplishments via a periodic newsletter.
A
portion of the revenue generated by the Hurricanes Alumni Association
will be donated to the CT Hurricanes competitive corps. It is our wish
that the moral support and monetary considerations we can afford will
round out our mission and assist in propelling the Connecticut
Hurricanes into the 21st Century as a high caliber sharply competitive
drum corps, and perpetuate the legacy of the pride and accomplishment
we all feel for having been part of the Hurricanes family. .
As many of you already know, Robert Glovna, our dear friend and mentor, long time director
of the Connecticut Hurricanes and Park City Pride, has been diagnosed with ALS, more commonly known as Lou Gehrig's Disease.
Donations are being accepted to help Bob and his family defer some of the expenses from treatments..
