| The "Connecticut Hurricanes Alumni Association" Official website. The Alumni Association
is open to all former members in good standing of the Connecticut Hurricanes and is intended to provide social, as well as,
recreational opportunities to our members, and a chance to network with our diverse group of Alumni, stay in-touch and keep
abreast of noteworthy happenings and accomplishments via a periodic newsletter. | A portion of the revenue generated by the Hurricanes
Alumni Association will be donated to the CT Hurricanes competitive corps. It is our wish that the moral support and monetary
considerations we can afford will round out our mission and assist in propelling the Connecticut Hurricanes into the 21st
Century as a high caliber sharply competitive drum corps, and perpetuate the legacy of the pride and accomplishment we all
feel for having been part of the Hurricanes family.

Tires
anyone?
Hey folks, the Hurricanes are having their best season
in many years but we have a little problem with our equiptment trucks. So far this year we have had to rebuild the motor on
one of the trucks and this has used up the budget for transportation. Now we are in need of tires for
the trucks. Cash donations are welcome but the real solution is to get a sponsor who would like to donate a complete set of
tires for one or both of the trucks. The donor would get the benefit of a tax deduction and we would make sure that the donor
would have plenty of recognition and good will. If you would like to make a donation, send a check to: Charles
King 45 Carlson Ridge Road New Milford, CT 06776 Make check out to: CT Hurricanes Drum and Bugle Corps.
Anyone wishing to become a sponsor can call me at (203) 512 6321.
It's a long way to Rochester
for what might be a repeat of 1981, let's not let the corps down. SOMF Charlie King

29, 2008 - New Messageboard
& Discussion Forum Launched!
After receiving a few suggestions concerning the
messageboard, the
concensus was that we needed a full featured vehicle that will combine
a guestbook, messageboard and forum in a user friendly configuration
which we hope will attract more postings and stimulate more
discussions. As
a result, we are happy to announce our new Discussion Forums featuring
the same software being used by many other drum corps sites, especially
the Drum Corps Planet site.
You
should find
the new forum site
more conducive to reading and posting messages and there are other
features like creating polls to vote on, a calendar of events and
personal messaging. Use the Guestbook linl on the lefthand menu to
check out the new forum.
